Dance for Mature Women

Dance for Mature Women

Rediscover your joy while you transform your health with dance for mature women.

In a warm & friendly setting, dance with mature women like yourself who are looking for a wiser, kinder & creative way to stay fit, strong, flexible and happy as we age.

Taught by the doctor of disco, Dr Pauline Manley, New Moves classes are like a bacon wrapped brussels sprout. Party on the outside, nutrition on the inside. Underlying the obvious frivolity are years of research into the moving body & a set of physiological principles designed to create happy & graceful ageing.

In these dance classes, we rediscover not only our joy but our sensuality, our courage & our creativity.

New Moves combines free improvised dance with easy choreography, to refine our brain-body connection, stimulating neurotransmitters, regulating hormones, opening our energy channels & aligning our posture.

Other benefits of these classes for older women are:

  • Improved balance
  • Weight management
  • Flourishing creativity
  • Stronger muscles and bones
  • Increased anatomical knowledge
  • More laughter
  • Stronger core
  • Improves memory
  • Brain growth
  • Connection with others
  • Graceful posture

New Moves lets you find your own way into dance, grooving to your rhythm & pace. It’s your body so move it your way.

A wild variety in music stimulates our brains: as we dance with other mature women in a non-judgmental, mirror-free environment that allows us to ‘let go’ & be the wonderful women we are.

If you want to rediscover your joy. If you want to transform your body & mental health, come and join us with regular classes in Vaucluse on Fridays. Or I can create a class for you with your own group of friends. Sharing space with other senior women is so much fun its almost illegal, as we age gracefully & disgracefully together.

If online classes are your preference, you can book a spot in New Moves online here New Moves Online with Pauline 2026. These classes are held by the Older Women’s Network (OWN NSW), a great organisation that advocates for senior women.
