In a warm community setting, dance with mature women like yourself who are looking for a wiser, kinder & creative way to stay fit, strong, flexible and happy as we age.
Taught by the doctor of disco, Dr Pauline Manley, New Moves classes are like a bacon wrapped brussels sprout. Party on the outside, nutrition on the inside. Underlying the obvious frivolity are years of research into the moving body and a set of physiological principles designed to create happy & graceful ageing.
In these dance classes, we rediscover not only our joy but our sensuality, our courage and our creativity.
New Moves combines free improvised dance with easy choreography, to refine our brain-body connection, stimulating neurotransmitters, regulating hormones, opening our energy channels & aligning our posture.

For Monday classes just show up at 8-10 Victoria St Newtown, Sydney. We start at 2.30 pm until 4pm, which gives us the time to dance, chat and meditate. These dance classes for older women are held at the Older Womens Network, a great organisation that advocates for senior women. If you become a member class rates are cheaper, otherwise $25 full or $15 concession.
